Stefanie Robinson is a Director at Pine Hill where she leads the firm’s Back Office Advisory Services practice. In this role, she oversees the delivery of Controllership functions and serves a broad range of clients dealing with the day-to-day financial support they need. Her clients include family offices, investment funds, for profit entities and start-up companies.
As her clients’ Controller, she monitors all fiscal interests in all related entities, including the management of cash and investment accounts and maintaining all accounting and financial records. Stefanie is responsible for reporting to key decision makers of the entities and providing financial reporting on an ongoing basis, as well as preparing financial statements and related account documentation for review by audit firms.
Before joining Pine Hill, Stefanie was an Audit Manager in the Assurance and Advisory Business Services practice at Asher & Company, Ltd., which was acquired by BDO in November 2012. During her tenure at Asher, she performed SEC and 401(k) plan audits, as well as various private company audits in various industries. Stefanie’s background also includes 4+ years with EY as a senior associate where she led audit planning and execution of various public company audits in the insurance and retail industries.
Stefanie is a CPA in Pennsylvania and is a member of the American and Pennsylvania Institutes of Certified Public Accountants. She earned her Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Accounting from Temple University where she graduated with honors. Stefanie serves as the Chair of WCXO which is a “by invitation” group of female executives and leaders. She has also served in various chair positions for the Junior League of Philadelphia’s community council where she currently participates on the “Kids in the Kitchen” committee which provides healthy after school snacks to kids in the Philadelphia area.
Stefanie founded the Career Moms Network which is a support organization for working moms as well as the Ladies Lunch & Mingle, which helps develop the “up and coming” business women in Philadelphia through networking lunches. She is also on Temple University’s Young Accounting Alumni Group Board. Stefanie lives in Malvern, PA with her husband Brad and two daughters.
