Chuck Jacobson is co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Pine Hill. Under his hands-on leadership, Pine Hill has evolved into a premier accounting consultancy and transaction advisory firm, utilizing its national firm technical expertise and operational acumen to collaborate closely with clients to achieve their most critical business objectives.
As a senior accounting and financial operations executive, Chuck brings more than 25 years of public, private and sponsor-backed company experience within the financial services, communications, technology and manufacturing sectors. Prior to co-founding Pine Hill, Chuck served as Senior Vice President of Finance at ATX Communications. He began his career working in public accounting at large, national accounting firms, most recently EY. Throughout his career, Chuck has been involved in numerous major M&A transactions, IPOs, as well as in-court (Chapter 11) and out-of-court restructurings. His in-depth experience also spans finance/accounting department operations, audits, SEC financial reporting and post-acquisition integration.
Chuck currently serves on the Board of Directors for his clients, including The PMI Group, a sponsor-backed holding company, and Parkview Capital Credit (“Parkview”), an investment management company that provides mezzanine debt and equity capital to lower middle market companies throughout the United States. At Parkview, Chuck also serves as Chief Financial Officer and Treasurer.
Chuck holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Rutgers University and is a proud member of the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA), the New Jersey Society of Certified Public Accountants (NJCPA), the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD) and the Association for Corporate Growth (ACG).
Outside of leading a thriving entrepreneurial business, Chuck enjoys vacationing in Cape May, NJ and spending quality time with his wife and two sons. He’s also an avid fitness enthusiast who enjoys cycling and running as well as golf and skiing.
